A Swallow and Two Tails: The Tale of Tom by BanaBlogger

        Tom was borne on a Wednesday during a rigid snowstorm in Windsor, Canada. His father had no car, so he had to borrow his neighbor's car to brave the harsh winter weather to deliver baby tom to his wife. This setting would be spot where tom was finally born. "It wasn't lavishing being born in an elevator" Tom recalls. It was at this catholic hospital where a man named tom would rock the world of #atheism with the word of god forever.

        He grew up to become an energetic kid. Spending a lot of his childhood grabbing onto car bumpers. " well actually the exhaust pipe was under the bumpers we got a good wiff" he reminisces with a warm look of nostalgia upon his face. He was a mischievous youth, tossing snowballs at cars. Once a man even chased him for it. He also, quite impressively fondly remembers his first love, Mary Anne, whom he shared his first kiss with. She had dark hazel brown eyes, and matching colour hair. He also recalled with remorse of how the landlord threatened to call his mom when she found out about their relationship. Unfortunately Mary Anne would break up with tom discovering that he had in fact had another girlfriend, Janice. Even after so long Tom still felt remorse for his old girlfriend and his actions.

        Years later Tom would be baptised at the age of 10. This was a major development for Tom who gravitated to Jesus like a meteorite, as well as Tom's character . This was his first step towards becoming a Christian and spreading the word and love of God. Perhaps this paid off as on Christmas he recalled receiving a Lionel train set. Of course his Uncle Albert took the liberty of playing with the set to Tom's  stark displeasure(he cried about it). " i thought the engine would fall over on the curve and break ... he was making the engine go fast". As Tom grew older into a teenager he would continue to go to Church, habitually.

        The years went by fast for Tom, and life was not without its flaws. Tom would get married to his first wife and have a relationship of which that ended in turmoil. Remarrying his new current wife in the 80's. Tom, also battled an alcohol addiction, finally succeeding in 2008 to rid himself of his dependence being free every since. His children to this day find it hard to talk to him though. Allegations of neglect have surfaced, but these rumors bear very little credibility.

       Tom, though for a great portion of his life has been a decent man. Sure he has had his faults and he's made some mistakes, but so do all of us. Tom, though, has become a noticeable chatter on #atheism, even forming his own room #christianity2, and taking part in the formation of Bob's room #christian. He left us for awhile during 2011, but he's back and better than before. Lets toast our glasses to Tom, so that hopefully this time he'll stay for good.
